Why UV Flatbed Printer Can't Work Under High Temperature Environment And How To Solve ?

UV flatbed printer,as we all know ,use for UV printing .UV printing is a form of digital printing that uses ultra-violet lights to dry or cure ink as it is printed. As the printer distributes ink on the surface of a material (called a "substrate"), specially designed UV lights follow close behind, curing - or drying - the ink instantly. Originally developed for quickly drying gel nail polishes during manicures, ultraviolet light applications quickly expanded into industrial and commercial markets. Because the UV lights cure any printed ink immediately, the dots of wet ink do not get a chance to spread out once printed, resulting in much finer detail. In addition, UV cured inks are weather-resistant and offer increased resistance to fading. This curing process is more environmentally friendly as it produces few VOC’s, odor, and heat. UV curing also allows the flatbed printer to be used with nontraditional materials like acrylic or aluminum. In fact, this UV flatbed printer is compatible with most substrates up to 2” thick!


As we all know ,UV flatbed printer widely use for Flip wallet smartphone case,Paper package,Indoor sign,Trophy,Portable battery,Toy,Wedding welcome sign board,Directory and floor plan,Water bottle,and so on.

However ,when working tempereture is too high ,UV flatbed printer can't work .Why and how to solve ?

Hot weather will have a lot of bad impact on digital UV flatbed printer. For example, the high temperature will affect the control board to become hot and affect the printing performance, or even cause damage to the circuit. Hot, dry environment will affect the quality of the ink, causing the evaporation of water, the ink viscosity increases, causing color distortion or even plug the nozzle.

In fact, it is very simple, these problems are also mentioned  in our work environment requirements. Specific approach is maintain the working environment of ventilation. In ventilated environment, it is easy to  send out the heat away from the machine to prevent the room temperature rise. If it is difficult to achieve the ventilation requirements under natural conditions, you can install the cooling ventilation equipment, such as exhaust fans, fan or air-conditioning equipment, humidifiers, etc. And through the ventilation equipment to keep the air stream flowing and indoor and outdoor air exchange, to achieve thermal cooling effect. Maintaining proper indoor temperature of the flatbed printer, to keep it in best working condition.
